Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms are an agreement between you and Inspired Labs (“we”, “us”). They apply when you use byinspiredlabs.com, use the Poetic theme or the Frontier app, or contact our support. By doing any of these, you agree to these terms. If you use our products for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.

Some things are covered by other terms as well:

• Poetic is sold through the Shopify Theme Store, so Shopify’s Terms of Service and its Theme Store terms apply to your purchase and licence.
• Frontier is distributed through the Shopify App Store, so Shopify’s terms for apps apply alongside these.
• Store setup is bought on inspiredtheme.com and is covered by the terms shown there at checkout.

If these terms conflict with Shopify’s terms about a purchase made through Shopify, Shopify’s terms apply to that purchase.

The Poetic theme

• You can try Poetic for free in your store before buying. Shopify handles payment, licences and any refunds.
• A licence lets you use Poetic on one Shopify store, as set out in Shopify’s Theme Store terms. You can customize it for that store, but you may not resell, share or redistribute the theme or its code.
• We release updates through the Theme Store. Updating is your choice. See how to update Poetic.
• Demo images, fonts and copy in theme presets are for previews only, unless the theme says otherwise. Replace them with your own before you launch.

The Frontier app

• Frontier is free to use. If we ever introduce paid features, we’ll tell you first. Any charges would go through Shopify billing, and only with your approval.
• Frontier adds its own section and block files to the theme you choose. You decide which theme to use, and you should review changes before you publish a theme.
• Sections and blocks you add remain in your theme if you uninstall the app. You can keep using them in that theme, but you may not copy them into other stores, resell or redistribute them.
• How Frontier handles data is explained in the Frontier privacy policy.

Support

• We provide support through our Help Center and contact form, typically within 12 hours, 7 days a week. Response times are a goal, not a guarantee.
• Support covers using our products as designed, bug fixes and theme installation. Custom design or development work and full store setup are not included. Store setup is a paid service.
• If you give us collaborator access, we’ll use it only for the help you asked for. Keep a backup or duplicate of your theme before any changes, and remove our access when you no longer need it. We never ask for your password.

Using our website and products

Please don’t:

• Copy, resell or redistribute our themes, sections, blocks, code, designs or content, except as these terms or Shopify’s terms allow.
• Try to break, overload or get unauthorized access to our website, app or systems.
• Use our products for anything illegal or to infringe someone else’s rights.
• Send spam or harmful files through our forms.

We may suspend access to our app or support if someone breaks these rules.

Ownership

We own Poetic, Frontier, this website and their code, designs, names and logos. Using them doesn’t transfer ownership to you. You keep ownership of your store, your content and anything you add to your theme.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve our products without owing you anything.

Third-party services

Our products run on Shopify and may work with other services, such as video hosts or other apps in your store. We aren’t responsible for those services, their availability or their terms.

Disclaimer

We work hard to make our products reliable, but they’re provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we don’t promise they’ll be error-free or uninterrupted, or that they’ll work with every theme, app or customization. Results such as sales or conversion rates depend on many things and aren’t guaranteed.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service involved in the 12 months before the claim. For free products such as Frontier, it’s limited to USD 100.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that can’t be excluded, such as consumer rights in your country.

Ending

You can stop using our products at any time by deleting the theme or uninstalling the app. We may stop offering a product or feature. If we do, we’ll give reasonable notice where possible.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll post changes on this page and update the effective date. If you keep using our products after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Inspired Labs is established, unless the law where you live requires otherwise. We’d always prefer to sort out a problem directly, so please contact us first.
